If you haven't caught on to it already, it is really popular in the korean pop world (and in Japan and so on) to work with groups and subgroups in different constallations. Co-Ed School (from the fact they ara a combined boy-girl group) is one such example where the girls have a subgroup called 5dolls and the boys one named Speed.
